新年快樂！ Mid-term exam

上個週末我感冒了。所以三十一號我在我家裡往外到看見一零一。我覺得不舒服，可是一零一很好看。那個週末我沒唸書，所以我寫上個禮拜的考試，寫得還好。因為我沒練習中文字，我忘了很多。這個週末我覺得比較好，我的感冒差不多好了。現在我練習中文字也廳音樂。我寫中文，寫的怎麼樣？

I became sick the new years-weekend, so I staid home new years eve. We could see Taipei 101 in the distance though, and we went to the roof to watch it with the other residents in our community. As I didn't feel well, I didn't study mutch either.

Wednesday we had mid-term exam, which tested both reading, writing, listening and speaking. The grammar-part was mostly to read some sentences and choose the correct one. We also needed to read an article and put in words that were given to us in pinyin. This is were I did most mistakes. In the end of the written test, we listened to some questions our teacher asked us, and we had to choose the correct answer on the paper.

Afterwards we went outside, and one by one the teacher called us back in. Now she asked me to read an article from a paper in the table. She then asked me some questions about our hometown; like name and the area were I lived. She wanted me to compare Norwegian food with Taiwaneese food, and also asked me some other, similar questions. I did ok on the grammar-part, and also speaking, listening and reading, but when it came to "read pinyin and write the charachters" I kind of failed.. ;) But, that's how I did without practising in advance, and I'm quite happy about it.

Went to a pizza-place with a Norwegian friend last week.
We had delicious pizza in the Taipei 101 area.

I have to say I find the second book, Practical Audo-Visual Chinese 2, a lot more interesting than the first. Still challenging, but things like comparison-grammer are very useful! ;)
